What We Provide

Individual Therapy:
Clients meet one-on-one with a therapist on a weekly or biweekly basis, either in-person or virtually.
This setting provides a safe and supportive environment to explore challenges, enhance self-awareness, and create meaningful change in their lives. It is also an opportunity to cultivate self compassion and
acceptance and to strengthen resilience within themselves and in their relationships with others.
Family Therapy:
Family Therapy recognizes that families can be both a source of love, connection, and support and a source of stress, grief, and frustration. This complexity is natural, as families are composed of individuals
with ever-evolving needs, desires, communication styles, and life experiences, which can sometimes result in tension, misunderstandings, and conflict.
- Intact Families: Families with parent(s) and their children.
- Divorced Families: Families that have undergone a separation or divorce.
- Blended Families: Families with new or additional caregivers and/or children.

Parenting Skills and Support:

Parent-Child Assessments:
A parent-child assessment is a comprehensive evaluation designed to understand the dynamics and
quality of the relationship between a parent and their child. It typically involves multiple components to
gather a well-rounded view of their interactions and relationship. Some of the components include
observing the parent/child interactions, interviews and questionnaires of the parents, behavioral
assessments of the child(ren), examining parenting practices/styles while considering the cultural and
socioeconomic factors.
Psychological Evaluations:
Comprehensive psychological testing is an invaluable tool for gaining deeper insight into a child’s symptoms, learning styles, and emotional experiences. By employing a variety of tests, these evaluations
offer a thorough examination of the factors contributing to a child’s challenges, leading to a clearer
understanding of their learning processes. Testing can identify specific academic, behavioral, or
emotional diagnoses, which then helps guide families toward the most suitable and effective treatment
recommendations.
